You cant beat the feeling of anticipation as you wait for the ferry to deliver you to the other side of Loch Linnhe and onward to Ardnamurchan.
Many visitors to Ardnamurchan have the ascent of Beinn Resipole high on their 'to do' list. At 845M it may seem like a gentle stroll but its not something to be attempted lightly. Even in the summer the path can be boggy, adding to the time to get to the top and when clad in snow, like today, its best left to experienced climbers. On the right day though its a rewarding climb with a great view from the top.
There is nothing like loading the log shed with a couple of tonnes of firewood the get the muscles warmed up on a winter morning. This load of firewood should keep Loch View Cottage cosy until the weather warms up.
